the same thing happened again. under that smiling face and facade of yours, you really cannot be bothered. it only matters if it comes with benefits and i'm not one of them. well i thought the idea of friendship was universal, apparently not. but many times i cannot bear to show it: my frustrations and all. i just amaze myself with my capacity to contain all this. maybe i do take friends for granted at times but i will ALWAYS make it up. either that, or they deserved it in the first place. LIKE YOU. like today, i just need to not make you happy for ONE instance and POOF. it all becomes kokokrunch, just without the great chocolaty taste.
so "breathe," i tell myself. "breathe."
today prom nominations/votings(i dont know what is it) are OUT! so thr's-
Prom King
Prom Queen
Mr Best Smile
Miss Best Smile
Mr Buff
Miss Glamourous
Mr Nice Guy
Miss Congeniality(or WHATEVER!)
Class Comedian of 2011
Future MP
i really couldnt be bothered with who's the prom queen. i have preferences, but i dont mind the popular choices either! so rv girls ftw! and anyway people that i think are pretty are widely known as not, and people that are widely known as pretty i think are not really THAT stunning! me and my weird girl taste. but i swear i'll be the best boyfriend ever. but the prom king is gna be -.- dont even get me started. to be honest i'm also not worried about which decent guy winning. but the problem is, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO PUT JOKERS UP THERE! and thr's nothing we can do about it.
well my other choices are so out-of-the world that they probably wouldnt make any difference to the votes/nominations anw.
but this huuuuuuuge hoohaa about the prom thing just made me realise how superficial it all is. and the thought that this is just the beginning of my whole life, just makes it even more depressing.
so today's timetable has to be the worse ever...... WAIT! i take my words back. friday's the worst. but the fact that it's friday makes it immune extremely depressed feelings.
it started out sorta fine, cus i didnt really mind doing the weird dance! just that it wld be nicer if the moves had ABIT more variation. but then again, since when has the council pleased everyone? okay nobody has ever done that. but the chicken dance was UTTERLY RIDICULUS. they took out, the flapping chicken wings of the dance. now, it's a dance without the chicken! IT'S JUST THE DANCE! so we have to do the beak thingy, turn around to shake, turn back and shake, and then clap! it's really that ridiculous cus now, we look like Crazed-penguins-who-are-trying-to-confuse-someone-by-turning black-and-white-all-the-time-and-then-clapping-cus-WE-DID-IT! hope the teachers are crazy bird-lovers as well. aww, i'm sure annang would love it. but then this should go on the papers. Penguins in Singapore! well at least that would make a good tourist attraction.
well econs was okay as usual. but it ttly showed me how human nature reacts to competition. it's like a multiplier effect. when u're winning u try harder to win more and it usually happens cus u're more determined to. but when u're losing......ohman u just hate everyone! and using competition in the classroom may help facilitate class discussions, but i feel that it triggers really unhealthy emotions within people. i thought that the competitiveness was only displayed in primary school, whr i'll ALWAYS want to win so badly. well at 18, the feeling is still thr, just that all of us act civillised about it just to show that we've "grown up". this actually means that it's worse because u'll never know what the other person is cursing at u about. well, similarly u can do the same ;) but it's just so damaging to one's soul i think.
well we went through qualitative answers for phyiscs again. i can never ever get how eunice manages to find time to finish all the qualitative answers. everytime i see a whole chunk of qualitative answers it just gets on my nerves. okay i have to stop this because in the past, i used to score almost full marks for my qualitative answers! i hope my inability to now is due to my increased liking for calculations and increased difficulty levels, but not my detoriating mind. 18 years of usage apparently was too much for my brain.
lit was interesting as usual, with keith prince and all his antics, but it was also just like that. aside from the microwaves bouncing back and forth the walls, cooking me as i'm at the nodes of the stationary waves. that room is just too hot for anyone.
math was just ---------------------------------------------------------------- with an occasional OH! when i had to check my answers. but othr than that it was just me reading the answers and trying to read the examiner's mind HAHA
woah GP. okay i dont even want to talk about. i'm keeping my lips sealed.
and the assembly talk... well i just gotta say that the speaker totally knows how girls are!!!
and OHOH! i was ttly craving for BBQ food at the kopitiam near my home, that i just HAD to go to boonlay market to satisfy my needs. but then! the bbq food there looked so unappetising that i just got turned off immediately. how untasteful does food have to look to turn one's craving off?! well we shld go check it out one day. so i ate TWO DOLLARS LAKSA!!! i dint know that such food still existed in Singapore! given the inflation and everything. and omg the sugarcane was just BEYOND AWESOME. likes!!!! :D
ps, thankgod noone i talk about unnamedly reads my blog.
