went out for my birthday dinner today!! Sun With Moon or Moon With Sun or wdv shit. but whatever shit that is, it's good shit! my mum said that it can get quite crowded during dinner so we called up to book and omg the booking spaces were FULL! so we just popped in to see if thr'd be a space if we got there early. the dinner ala carte starts at 6.30pm and we went there at 6.20pm. but there was already no more space for table for 5! :O
so we had no choice but to take one of the booked tables cus the booking was for 7.30pm. the food dint look very good on the menu actually, but it looked awesome when it came!!! it looked so good that i had no time to take pictures! we just all DUG IN. my mum got a mixed sushi and mini ramen set, and my dad got a bowl of tonkatsu ramen..... omg the ramen is DA BOMB and the stock was TO DIE FOR. most of the times i think words are not enough to illustrate my tone and emotions and this is another one of those common times. the ramen was just great, and awesome. GRAWSOME. and my siblings got a mega mega expensive steak and burger meat set, with chuwanmushi and rice and salad and EVERYTHING. well, it looked good and tasted good (i tasted some while my brother was looking away TEEHEE. but well! i'm the birthday girl and i'm taking FULL advantage of that :D) so i got this weird jap bibimbap thingy, just that it didnt have the red sauce! it had like diced avocado, salmon, big roe, mini roe, eel, and some squid that was cooked to PERFECTION! but well, the bowl just didnt bother to mention that the bowl of mixed rice had WASABI! omyfreakingod. like printing the word "wasabi" would incur extra menu-cost. *eye-roll* (it's an allusion to the sushi roll anw). okay it may be stupid that i cant see the wasabi for myself and just take it away, but it looked EXACTLY LIKE AVOCADO!!!!!!! u get what i mean.. i mean, i even tried one of those green mushy things to make sure it wasnt wasabi! zz. and thankgod i dint mix it properly.. if not the WHOLE bowl of rice would 'stink' of it and i'd have to like exchange it with my dad or wdv. not that it mattered, since the ramen was so nice but it would be really IDIOTIC. so we were all happily eating, until i put a spoon of that rice into my mouth and

woh. it really went up your nose like what they said. wasabi in jap food should come with a HUUUUGe warning sign with all the neon lights and everything. like, BLING BLING BLING WASABI CROSSING! or sth close to that.
okay so anw after all the food and everything my mum said we just HAVE to try their deserts (or issit desserts) cus it's good also! so we ordered their original tofu cheese cake and greentea sundae. omg DAEBAKKKKKK!!!!! the tofu cheese cake looked normal and so-so, but omg when you eat it, you can really taste the difference!! it's not as heavy as normal cheesecake, yet still with the cheesycakey feel! the tofu taste is light but it makes a huuuuge difference to the cake! too bad it was only a small piece hehe. and oh the icecream was WOOTS! okay the greentea made it to 2nd place on my green tea ice cream list. and they had this waffle biscuit thingy that was soooooo good! okay there were a few layers. the top layer was the greentea icecream with the waffle topped with red bean, and whipped cream with green tea sprinkled over it! the second layer was the weird ball ball muajis. i dont really liked those stuffs but the rest of my family were fighting for it HEH. and then there was this green tea jelly. it has a grass jelly texture but with the bitterness of greentea! it surprisingly found it's place in the sundae. it's bitterness sorta gave us a break from the sweetness. then came my favourite. A LAYER OF GREENTEA CAKE!!! omg i dint know that it could taste so nice!!! okay i wld like it to taste that way, but i nvr knew that it was possible to bake it that way!!!! and then at end there was cornflakes with greentea syrup! okay please do not be fooled by the weirdness of the combination. it surprisingly(again) was a great end to the wonderful sundae!!
so in all, i had a great day :D

and i found out that yall really dont. now i just really dont know why i even got my hopes up in the first place. what an idiot.
