Speaking of fiction and reality, i finally came to a conclusion why i watch dramas. English dramas, korean dramas, taiwan dramas, local dramas, whatever, but i cannot help but like it. However lousy the plot of actors are, i can get hooked.
Dramas first give you hope, then they give u a misconception of life, then you lose yourself for awhile, wanting to live in a drama serial, then after that u harden. You learn to appreciate the amount of love and dedication the couple has in the drama. You understand that this richness will probably never ever happen to you ever. Hopefully this stage of hopelessness towards 'true love' (cos you never know the meaning of true love even if you've experienced it) is temporary, and it willbe followed by sth less world-ending.
But drama serials give you hope at times, cheer you up, and there's just something about looking forward to the release of a new episode every week, or going to school or work knowing that you have started on a new drama that has been fully released and you can just go home and do as many episodes as you want in 1 shot.
Some people think that it's childish, they think it's a fantasy world that many girls (and some guys) submerge themselves into. But, what's wrong??? What's wrong with wanting to see sth that i'll most probably experience in real life?! At least now i appreciate the intensity of emotions. And i appreciate the people that i have :)
