This week has been a relatively good week!! :D
The only bad part was FM quiz which was far too traumatising to even think about. And that i've been staying up to study will super late for the past nights but efficiency is way low. I really hate it when efficiency is low. Have to push myself harder!
So sunday was impre. went to jp for dinner and i ended up being very awkward about myself doogeun >< ahh #confused. Went down to sahppork gloria, lester, chin, jason. And of cos jingren and eric too! Hahah some of the groups were really good. Opened my eyes bigbig. I have alot alot to learn about stage presence. Singing skills/standard i really dont dare say cos one song's hard to decide and they all have different genres. Thought that some groups could have had more harmo tho!
And the dance items.... Ok this one my eyes open until the eyeball drop out alr. Te last team was really super good sia. Gloria said that they were professional competitive dancers. Eeeee spoil market siaaa. But everyone really put up a good show :) congrats to the dancers! Hope u guys enjoyed the performance!!! Really peifu the courage. I never even have the courage to go for these types of competitions. Idk if i dont want it enough or i tell myself that i dont need it. I know i want it. Maybe i'd rather not want the disappointment haha. I know that if i try i will keep wanting more and it will never be enough and i will cause trouble for myself again lols.
And the composing.... I've always been in awe of composers. All i can do is rendition of other songs but i can never come up with anything original. Like there are rough random tunes that come up when i'm inspired by other songs but they're just like one liners hahah. Besides, i'm also scared of writing songs. It's like writing stories. I'm worried that i put too much of myself into the story. Too much that i get addicted to pouring out and cant stop myself cos it had happened before and look where it has landed me.
Oh but yeah the composing. I really like the piece that won. Do you know how difficult it is to come up with a clubbing piece??? Like catchy but not irritating. #highlevel
So monday was caen. Awesome!! Again, of course winning helped heh. Hall8 has been winning for some time and i was quite worried if we lost it. Thankgod i was just backing up vic. And thankgod for vic. Truly a good seasoned singer. If it were anyone else i think the songs would just fall apart. So much to learn from him!!!!! Just really too bad he's leaving. Funny guy, vic :D and the hall 11 yellow skirt girl was really awesome omg i just love her voice man. brought the house to a whole new level hahaha. hall 10 was damn fun to watch cos cynthia and yuanming were performing! it's just damn interesting to see friends perform. suddenly u just enjoy the performance hahah.
AND OMG THE CAMERAAAAAAA. I'm just so happyyyyyy. Like i bought the ticket just so i could have a shot at winning the camera cos performers got to eat the buffet alr anw! [btw i think i've just gained a new obsession called photobooth.] the boys are supposed to upload them but i think i may have to do the honours LOL!
but anw the lucky draw, here was how it went. at first it was wanyan winning the thumbdrive.
me: what's ur number ah?
wanyan: 179 lor (oh wait i may have remembered this number wrongly come to think of it.)
mc guy: and the 15th prize, an 8GB thumbdrive goes to...
me: actually u wont wna win a 15th prize right.. cos that means wont win the first prize liao.
wanyan: aiya wont so suay one l-
mc guy: 179!!!!!!

haha she had sucha pained look on her face and together with the conversation we had before her number was announced, i just had to laugh non-stop!!! and just when i thought all the luck ran out, it was my turn... :))))))))
mc guy: so the 5th prize is a camera!
me: this is it this is it this is it...
mc guy: 21....

wanyan: zero zero... (at the same time i was chanting zero in my head but i didnt dare to say it out loud in case i jinxed it.)
mc guy: ZEROOOO!!!!
i swear,
i had never been so happy listening to his voice,
or anyone saying the word zero.
and so, i let out a scream.
a small one la. not very loud.
ok a proper scream.
a soprano scream.
ok maybe it wasnt that soft either cos when i ran down to collect my prize (i am extremely shocked that i didnt fall down running down those stairs), the hall 10 jcrc president was like: "i think u quite happy hor, scream so loud" O.O
but ohwell, I WON THE CAMERA!!!

it was with the ticket that yongyong gave me but ohwell, he promise me that if the ticket win he will give me already!!!! but adi complain that i should at least pay him 5bucks. yeah i'll give him 5 bucks on monday. at least make him feel better! haha maybe i shouldnt have told him it was his ticket after all.. then will make him feel less horrible.
then after that they announced that we won caen. somehow i thought that we could have performed better? which made me damn nervous during the results if not actually the results dont actually matter right? but ok we won! :D thankful for the supporters from hall8! even if they came to support other people and to take part in the lucky draw WHICH I WON A CAMERA IN :D. and yanbing & wanyan (even though never arrive in time to watch HAHAH) and celeste :) and leonard (for supporting hall 9 and me HEEHEE. AND for giving the honest but well thought out comments ^^)
so after it ended we celebrated jeremiah's birthday with a cake that victoria prepared. THANKSSSS! then sing birthday song for the Nth time and i tried helium but like no use for the pitch leh! anw many thanks to victoria this time, for like giving support and outfit advice :)))
tuesday i had to kick into full gear fm but maybe it was too late. studied with yupyup and lamlam at athena. quite nice lei the place HEH! and pleeeeease let what guanyinniangniang say be true please! then had dinner with my parents cos the came down. AND I GOT MY PERMISSION YAYYYYY! sacrificed lotsa study time to persuade them but i did it nevertheless :D
wednesday was busy busy busy and like others would call it, HAPZ.
so morning was the fm quiz. okay wdv. i just really hope that it's okay :(
but after it was over i was just so happy that nothing new got into my brain lols.
then went to SBS day to perform! wanted to do a good one for wanyan and victoria, so my elective classmate there performing also (she freaking good) and sang a few songs... didnt sing dumb ways to die in the end #wasted. ruined rumour has it. i dont know how it was possible to ruin such a good song but yeah i did it.. had some fun at the photobooth.. say meiyi, tracy and a few friends that wanyan always talk about but i couldnt put a face to the name...
and then went out to bugis
and came back for... HALL ANNI DINNERZ!

okk wait. the food first. alot of people said that it wasnt enough. but i'm not sure if i ate hell lot or my appetite that night not very good cos i was freaking full.

me: holy shit.... seriously?!
took awhile for it to sink in and there was alot of noise and i cannot even remember if i screamed or not but i did remember that i was shaking, and then i heard victoria go: "HUH?! GERMAINE AGAIN?!!" hahahahaha yeap thaaaat's me!
then after that i went to zouk with yanbing... it was fun during the period where the dance floor started to fill up and me burning out. in between there was this weird guy following us and the music was only soso until ghetto came into the picture! but i really burned out sia... was super tired. SORRY YANBING! SORRY I COULDNT LAST! next time k! next time we go with srethgie!! :D met yeowleong and his other friends there as well ;) wah but yeowleong really macham like brother liddat sia! -fistbump- (Y)
cabbed back super early and i think i knocked out on the floor for awhile cos i was soooo tired. DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT DRINK AT ALL OK! germaine tan never drinks to get high to dance one. puhlease.
thursday was a blur of not listening in class. omg i am so guilty everytime that happens
I got much of wanted and i am very grateful of what i got this week. Meanwhile though i am sure something bad is going to happen to me. it's like this bad luck streak shit. it's going to start soon. whatever good karma i accumulated before is sure to have run out. i can only cringe to wait for the blow. just please let me get over it quickly... that's all i ask...
hahha but yeah i'm enjoying everything as of now :))
but since i'm supposed to be emo and problematic, here are some emo stuffs!! :) like stuffs that i thought of last time but never really got down to writing them. #longlongago

@disneywords Look, this one's late. But i'll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all. -Fa Zhou (Mulan) yeah but what if it never blooms at all? What if an unbloomed flower is what it is forever destined to be? What if when it blooms and dies, noone is there to see it's beauty? Will it be in vain?
