so idk how but i ended up here.
close walk from the mrt station and an easy find because even a road idiot like me found the place HAHAHAHA
glad i took some me time. actually i also cant remember what i did in the 3 hours but ohwell, here i am!
i must say i could stay here for the whole day.
as the place would suggest, this place offers coffee and beer.
their brunch menu i guess will be just sandwiches? idk nth much caught my eye.
the mains sounded awesome will get to that later
and at night? BEER
i hate beer in general unless they're sweet, but i saw some nice light beers that had happy bottles and i was like,
okay i would take that.
and u know what's rhe best? they've got alcohol based smoothies too.

plus the place has an awesome ambiance.
i sorta expected something brighter from the pictures online,
but i felt like i entered a bar HAHA
this place has a warehouse feel. couldnt capture the ceiling but it has really really high ceilings. SUPER WAREHOUSE.
i need to bring one of the usp lounge main comm here HAHAHA

(basically we went to a temple in china and apparently i need to take some initiative this year and busy myself with everything. and i'm like... omg u mean my level of commitment now not high enough? haha ok this is means i can do more. and i have a legit reason to do more now. #callmesuperstitiousidontcare
the coffee is not bad i guess. i'm glad i took a bite out of the biscuit before i drank the coffee. made wonders. i think i had similar level good coffee like this before. but it caught me off guard and i ddint really enjoy it. aiya idk how to describe luh. just come and try for yourself. not a coffee pro. hell i dont even know how to taste if the coffee is chaoda or not. all i can say is the coffee is different from all the other coffees i have tasted; in the good way i mean hahahah
before i came i checked reviews and people said that the boss here (featured in the photo above) is damn friendly and damn passionate about coffee and damn approachable and chat up to customers frequently. haha he certainly is quite passionate i guess, they had a few different type of coffeebeans, and his motive for setting up his coffee shop are on small placards on some of the tables. sooooo THUMBS UP for chasing your dreams bro!

ok disclaimer:
1. i am a fan of cream-based pasta
2. i have a soft spot for pasta
3. i am a carb addict
4. i like rocket leaves (my favourite type of salad)
5. i LOVE mushrooms (all types, that i've tried at least)
SO I LOVE THIS PASTA.
the cream is amazing. it's not pure cream pasta. idk what they did to it.
it's abit similar to one of the chock full of beans pasta.
they mixed something into the cream so it's not too creamy?
idk how that works maybe with something in the cream u get reminded of something else in the sauce besides the cream? distraction so people dont keep thinking: eeee too creamy.
idk. i mean, i didnt even know how to taste the egg in cream pastas HAHAHAHAH
they had rocket leaves on top omg YAYNESS how did they know?!! i like how there's a bitter aftertaste in the leaves. and the mushrooms WOOTS.
will have this again heh.
only things that can be improved: they had sausages in there, they cut it up so it looked like meatballs. once again idk how does that work but yes they looked like meatballs to me HAHA. didnt really like the sausages. they were quite salty and i'm not a huge fan of sausages in the first place ;)
and i like linguini soooo i guess if it were linguini it would be perfect HAHA. the spaghetti was well-controlled tho, not overcooked. i hate those.
i like this me-time. sometimes i think that getting on the train during rush hour, alone, is me-time too. the crowd and noise and heat make me feel more alone, which is kinda consoling actually. helps me zone out HAHA. aaaaand that is what imma do now. going to meet jean and OMG LATE.
